FuturePride Thailand 2025: Embracing Diversity
Bangkok, Thailand. At FuturePride Thailand 2025, the spotlight was on the ColourEconomy, Thailand’s bold vision to embrace diversity, celebrate differences, and reimagine the future of the MICE industry.
At the center of this vision is Dr. Supawan Teerarat, President of the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). Her leadership theme, “Change That Matters”, is all about transforming Thailand into a global MICE powerhouse, not just through world-class venues, but through vision, innovation, and inclusivity.
Diversity Is the Mainstream
Joining her on stage was Tanachai Kulsomboonsin, Co-Founder of Canvas Ventures International, who underscored a key demographic shift: diversity is no longer niche, it’s mainstream. This signals a generational shift where inclusion will shape workforce, consumer, and leadership trends and that inclusive ecosystems are essential for unlocking Thailand’s full potential.
PinkTech Fund: Turning Inclusion into Action
At FuturePride Thailand, Tanachai also presented PinkTimesSquare — a forward-looking concept for an inclusive innovation district connecting the Pink Economy with wellness, fashion, entertainment, and tourism.
To support this vision, Canvas Ventures launched the PinkTech Fund, Southeast Asia’s first investment fund dedicated to LGBTQIA2S+ entrepreneurship and inclusive innovation. The fund focuses on inclusive consumer platforms, urban technology, and wellness solutions designed to drive sustainable growth.
This November, Canvas Ventures will release the PinkTech Report 2025, outlining strategies and insights on how Thailand can lead the region in building economies powered by diversity and creativity.
MICE That Moves People
With TCEB’s ColourEconomy strategy and Canvas Ventures’ investment leadership, Thailand’s MICE industry is moving far beyond meetings and becoming a platform for innovation, investment, and inclusion.
